Sometimes it’s good to go for a drive just to clear your head…I got up a little early this AM to head down to the streets of Long Beach to take a quick spin around Ocean Ave/Shoreline Dr. It’s actually pretty cool during this time of year since it’s setup for the LBGP – obviously there are portions that are part of the “true” track which you can cruise thru (slowly) but be mindful that there are cops in the area to keep us wanna-be ALMS guys at bay LOL. Was a bit surreal driving down one of the main straights that I see all the racecars tear down each year. the sound reverberations are awesome (annoying for locals I’m sure) – in a few years might be able to bring my son (with ear protection) to checkout the races…still sounds so weird to say that!!
