To all my friends on FB, the post was true although I did pick a funny day to announce it. Wendy and I are having a baby and yes, it’s a boy!!! It truly is a blessing, particularly since we lost my Dad in January and it’s been a tough year for the family. We knew in December (although it was VERY early) and we decided to let our families know, which I’m VERY thankful now seeing as how it gave us the opportunity to share it with my Dad.
The day we found out that it was a boy (since we weren’t revealing to the family until Easter) I left this at my Dad’s grave – he probably knew before anyone, but I thought it was important that he had something from #10 (his 10th grandchild!!)
I’m hoping to have some pictures like this with my kid in a few years, me and my Dad = I’m on some weird 3 wheel bike thing and he’s rocking one of the first pocket bikes LOL – picture circa 1981?
