Art in the Streets : MOCA.

After seeing this on The Hundreds blog and mentioning it to Irv -figured this was one of those “have to make the trek out to LA” type deals. Runs thru August, so no stress otherwise, but I had to take the opportunity to checkout the likes of Shepard Fairey, Mr. Cartoon, Estevan Oriol and of course…Banksy. I’m not an artsy fartsy type guy so this won’t be an indepth analysis, just my opinion of what I saw that interested me and I thought was particularly cool- check it out for yourself and make your own judgement!

Shot of where they held a skate demo on opening nite.

Impressive collection of spraycans…I’m gonna do this with Lee’s coffee cups someday.

Mental note: Always be the guy doing the actual spraying, not the “assistant” LOL.

Was nice to get out with the wifey and checkout something “cultural” – hey, I’m expanding my boundaries…I even tried a new ramen place out there (it sucked). Hit me back with opinions, thoughts comments…hope everyone had a nice easter weekend!
