Motortrend = Weaksauce

And they wonder why I won’t renew my subscription – take a look at the last 3 issues I’ve received…all american cars on the cover…gimme a break, do I sincerely give a flying poop (with corn) about any of these weak ass cars? Caddy Coupe De Ville, Hot G8, and Retro Fire? hahaha – each is gheyer than a 3 dollar bill. I’m sure someone out there loves these cars, but he’s also the dude that loves the viper, corvette, plays country music and is rockin a mullet – y’all.  Sorry to be so honest, but the best thing I’ve gotten out of these things is that I can use em’ as coasters when I’m too lazy to find one – and they wonder why American cars don’t sell?

I need to mellow out…

A nice Saturday…

Great day out today, weather was awesome, had some lunch – drove to get some Lee’s coffee in my buddies 430. What’s better than cruzin’ through Irvine on a nice day hearing the F-car orchestra in the background. 🙂

Scored some tires (and rims too LOL)!!!

So about 10 days ago I posted on how I was unable to find replacement rear tires (still out of stock in north america btw) Pirelli P Zero Rosso’s – apparently the rear tire size is VERY popular. As luck would have it – I was able to get a hold of this used set of CLS63 AMG rims AND tires for the same price of just tires for my original set. Booyakasha! Now I just need to have the TPMS transferred and I’m good to go for another 9K miles lol. Guess the CLS is here to stay for now…

New GTR

My buddy over at Jada Toys posted this up, he’s a total diecast freak so it makes perfect sense that he works for Jada. Apparently they got their own 1:1 scale GTR to play with recently…can’t wait to see what the diecast versions look like! Nice JDM pose Pat!! LOL.

FOUR TWENTY THREE

I know, it’s my fault that I own 2 cars and both are 8 cyl, but sheesh…when will it end? Plus, I bought in Cerritos since I was up there and it’s usually 10 cents cheaper than Irvine.

CLS63 and C63 at lunch…

After a quick stop at Lee’s (Best Iced Coffee EVER) – I decided to stop off at the local MBZ dealer to see what they have in stock (remember, I’m still looking for some rear tires : new tires < new car LOL!)- took a CLS63 for a spin and had an opportunity to checkout a customers C63. The power on the C63 is amazing – interior is actually pretty nice as well – very reminiscent of the Black Series (seats/alcantara accents) . I think MBZ may have done this one right as far as market demographic. Quick shot of Ben f/Wheels Boutique smoking the hell out of his new C63 on HRE’s.
