I <3 Good Deals.

The homie Krist found a killer deal on this Canon PNS (not POS) which is 12.1mpx and shoots HD Video. WHAT! Cheaper than my last cable bill…love it. Now I don’t have to lug my Canon DSLR everywhere to get a decent shot…does that mean I’ll post up more pics? Probably not, since most of you know how notorious I am about not posting up shots LOL.

Rebel T1i hits…

My boy Tony just picked this up – best starter DSLR on the market IMO. HD Video, 15 megapixels, 3″ screen – this thing kills for the pricepoint. When I finally retire my 20D I’ll pickup the big brother to this guy, the 5D MKII. Go shoot some vids T!

1 over Jordan…

A few weeks back I started noticing that my Nike Air Trainers (original post here) that I bought for the gym were squeaking…I’m not talking a little, it was seriously pretty bad, especially on non carpeted floors. A friend mentioned I could send them back since they were defective…yeah, right….well guess what. I spent $5 to ship, filled out an online form and ended up getting a full credit! Badass considering I used them on and off for over 6 mos! Since the credit was only available for their online store, I decided to get some NikeID’s. The interface is SICK. You can pretty much choose every type of color configuration, personalize logos, lettering, etc. This is what I came up with…wanted something that I could wear to the gym and get dirty, but still have a bit of swagger.

Bye Bye 7.75

After dinner last night I made a “late” run to Target and Trader Joe’s to get my last minute 7.75% tax opportunity in LOL. Granted, 1% isn’t going to make a huge dent – but it adds up quickly if you tend to purchase a lot of little items. Seriously, any of my “large” purchases will now be online since I won’t have to pay tax AND shipping is free. Sad to see for a lot of local retail shops, as they’ll be left to cater to those last minute purchasers or immediate gratification types (myself included), we’ll definitely see a drop in retail sales for small business. Enough of the economics, let’s get with the cool shiz which is what I’m about LOL.

I had the original!! They’re releasing this again…sweet.

Interesting finding this at Target…will be nice to know that the next gen of driving will find the GTR “common” whilst most of us pre fast and furious types will remember how much of a unicorn this once was.

Blogging vs Facebook vs Twitter

Twitter and Facebook have been my weapons of choice lately, unfortunately leaving my one avid blog reader with very little updates 🙂 I’m slowly going to transition my blog to longer stories and messages regarding cars/toys/life and leaving my quick updates to the other social networking tools that suck time away LOL. Go follow me on twitter! albertroxas

On that note, here’s a quick pic of what arrived a few days ago, Snake Eyes/Storm Shadow combo f/Mighty Muggs! Not quite Kaws or Bearbricks but hey, they’re still vinyl and cool. Would love to get a hold of the 5′ Giant Gundam Zaku II one day, that thing kicks ass (maybe when I have a bigger home office LOL) and for my friends that always make fun of me for not opening toys, these will be opened!! (Eventually) hahaha.

F* the Police

Got this from the homie Tony – SO SICK. I had seen this model around but was never able to find the AutoART version. BOOYA – sheck it. Thanks Tony!

Hotwheels must be confused

I picked this up last night for Jay while walking through Target. Took a glance, thought “wow, an R34- cool”. Bought it, looked at it closer when I got home and realized the package says “R32”. If you look closely, it does have some R32 pieces, but the chassis is undeniably an R34. I could be wrong, but you make the decision from my crappy iPhone pics. Your R32.5 is on the mail Jay…and put your blog back up sucka!
