We will never forget.

Wanted to at least drop a quick line to mention that today is 9/11 – can’t believe it’s been 7 years since that terrible day. A lot changes in 7 years, especially the lack of coverage (net nor network) of the event which sincerely bothers me. Kanye fighting at LAX was the lead on the 11PM news…wtf. I’m sure some people don’t want to remember, but at the same time – we can’t forget…I wouldn’t want something like this to happen again.

Reading is fundamental…

Picked up the latest Super Street and Heavy Hitters, some good stuff in both issues – particularly the “JDM Bounty Hunters” article in Super Street and the Gas Cap breakdown in Heavy Hitters. Whenever I see good issues I always think back to tUNINGwERKS – I miss that mag.

Dirty Mouth?

So in an effort to get back into shape again (yes, I was once in shape) I started mountain biking with some of my co-workers. My first time out was tiring, but a lot of fun – especially the downhill. The second time out – well, let’s just say I might have been too fast for my own good. Like the Terminator, I just kept goin…next time my buddy says “Slow down!” I’ll probably heed the warning.

Olympics 08′

Got these awhile back and never posted them – was trying to swear off of shoes for awhile, then these came out. Picked up USA and Germany – my Germany’s came with a cool Hyperdunk Memory Stick, make sure you get yours, rumor is that most stores didn’t give these out with each sale.

Friends…

The saying goes: Friends will help you move, real friends will help you move bodies.
Well, Rich – happy bday man, real friends buy you bullets LOL.
Thanks to Tony/Kev for the lead , I totally would have bought you the Entourage DVD set instead.

Another good quote I came across…

“The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both.”

Start em young!

Pic of my buddies kid – Noah, with our gift to him for his first bday…BMW Formula 1 racer!! (apparently he’s starting his own garage, check out the nice Z3 as well!)
