So it’s been awhile…

Been busy at work with the whole financial turmoil deal – some pretty historic times we’re living thru! Haven’t had a chance to update the blog, plus I’ve got SEMA and SF coming up next week so I’ll leave you with this for now…my completed hose-reel project LOL!

Thanks B!!!

 Props to my homie Brian who hooked me up with this fat OG SSR Superfin. I mentioned to him how I was looking for a single old school wheel to use in my garage as a hose reel and he gave me this beauty! Good lookin out man, appreciate it! Totally brings back good memories of my JDM days back in 89-90. Stay tuned for the finished product!

Great Marketing…

Next to Scion (Yes, Scion) – Porsche has to have the greatest mail marketing that I’ve seen. Last year during the introduction of the Cayenne GTS, they sent me a badass Porsche Strabe sign – this year, for the release of the Panamera Sports Sedan, they sent this cool booklet…makes me want to buy one! LOL.

Know your toll…

So I get home and open up the mail only to find a Toll Road violation – WTF!! I immediately scan my memory bank to think of when I drove through a toll without paying (not that I’ve NEVER done it). I immediately remember visiting my bro in Coto a few weeks ago – they were working on the machine and had blocked the pay side, so I drove past on the sensor side…no big deal right? They send me a citation but luckily a quick call and explanation gets me out of the $48 fine and ends up with $.50 on my Amex LOL. Now if only CSUF will accept my contested parking ticket – I was innocent there as well!!

Nuttin but a “G” thang…

I’m sure I’ve used that before but what the hell. It was a GGRRREAT Fathers Day for one of my buddies who came down to finalize the purchase of his 06′ Gallardo (that I scoped out for him a few posts below) – great car, great price for a great guy – well deserved man!! Congrats Kirb!
