Late adopter…

Late in the game with the PS3 (waited for the 80GB MGS4 version) – picked this up to make it less confusing when watching DVD’s…look at all the friggin buttons LOL!!

One of the best quotes ever…

I posted this awhile back on my old blog site – from Tiger Woods, a reminder for me to focus and work hard:

“I view my life in a way … I’ll explain it to you, OK?” he told his small audience in Florida. “The greatest thing about tomorrow is, I will be better than I am today. And that’s how I look at my life. I will be better as a golfer, I will be better as a person, I will be better as a father, I will be a better husband, I will be better as a friend. That’s the beauty of tomorrow. There is no such thing as a setback. The lessons I learn today I will apply tomorrow, and I will be better.”

Nuttin but a “G” thang…

I’m sure I’ve used that before but what the hell. It was a GGRRREAT Fathers Day for one of my buddies who came down to finalize the purchase of his 06′ Gallardo (that I scoped out for him a few posts below) – great car, great price for a great guy – well deserved man!! Congrats Kirb!

Finally bought a PS3

So I finally picked up a PS3 – Jay and Tony will rejoice! LOL. Had an opportunity to pickup the limited 80GB Metal Gear Solid 4 Bundle pack- actually 2 of em! I’m not much of a gamer, but was sold when I demo’d Tony’s setup using his PS3. The multimedia features are a nice treat too. Time for me to pickup some games and Blu Ray discs!

Time to wake up.

I’ve been too much of a dreamer lately – you can even see it in some of my posts. Waiting to win the lotto, waiting for money to fall into my lap, I haven’t been the go-getter nearly as much as I have in the past. Perhaps a sign of growing old? A sign of contentment? I used to joke that if I got an Enzo, the first thing I’d think was “what next?”. I seriously need to get back in that mode – just haven’t figured it out yet. Here’s a great quote for my Wednesday motivation.

“All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was only a dream: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, they are the risk takers, for they act on their dreams with open eyes, and make the dreams reality. These types of dreamers are not dreamers at all but the visionaires who rise above the hoping and wishing and through necessity and sheer will power make reality happen.”

This is your wakeup call Mr. Roxas

Sunday drive…

Headed out to the 90210 to checkout a car for a friend up north, cruised down Robertson- Hey the Ivy! Hey Kitson! LOL – metup with a buddy at Jerry’s Deli for lunch (Entourage!). Chicken sandwich was good…but why on a hotdog bun…new scene to me, I’m from the OC.  Car pics to come…here’s food in the meantime from my Iphone…and yes, Kev – I’m blogging about it.
