Sneakerheads are nuts- came to SCP to try and cop the 11/12’s only to find 70 people waiting AND they said people were fighting LAST NIGHT over line cutting! What recession? Long story short, I’m still in line – doesn’t look good. My boy Nhia got his pair last nite, but he was there since 10p!

Can’t believe how cheap gas is (super too!)…woo hoo! Makes a big diff. As both cars in our household are V-8’s. Might as well enjoy it while it lasts!

Although things have been hectic lately, I had the chance to cleanup the garage a bit this past weekend and put one of my bday gifts to use – Tire Rack Tire Totes! It may seem a bit obsessive, but considering the amount of rims I’ve replaced on different cars and the many times a spare set sits in my garage, these are totally worth it. No more wrapping them in garbage bags! 🙂 Keeps the garage looking nice and neat.
One of my favorite gifts f/my bday this year! When I was in elementary school (and my sister was just starting her teaching career) she’d bring a few of these home for me whenever she got paid. A nice trip down memory lane, these’ll sit in my home office as a quiet reminder that life is as simple as you make it and to not stress so much! 🙂 Thanks Tess!
So my noise canceling headphones arrived! Part of my B-day gift from my wife. They arrived late as USPS stated they were delivered on Dec 1st (I even called the Post office and their investigation stated that the postman said he put them in the mailbox) but apparently someone took them. Luckily Amazon service was great, they sent out another set, no questions asked! So they arrived today and well look here…someone is stretching the truth LOL. How the heck would this fit in the mailbox?
So I hope the postman enjoys the other set of headphones. Ugh. Anyways, these things are sweet – I was ready to pick up the Bose Quiet Comfort setup (well known) but my buddy Tony turned me on to this brand, made in Japan and priced a little cheaper than the Bose. The reviews were excellent so I went with them…
The name is a bit ironic, but hey – they sound GREAT. Love the feel – the Bose felt a little cheap and “plastic-y”, these guys are solid and comfortable.
So all set for my upcoming Miami trip! Thanks Babe.
Picked this up on Tuesday and had some time to watch it last night…WHAT A MOVIE. I was big into comics back when I was a kid and I have to say, this is seriously an amazing adaptation of Frank Millers work. Ridiculous…can’t believe I waited this long to see it. If you haven’t seen this, you’re missing out.
One more pair – completely Tony’s fault since he wanted to go to the Nike outlet…30% off though so these were crazy cheap. If you don’t know who Steve Prefontaine is…you better ask somebody.
